South Bay-Beach Cities: New 55+ Luxury Townhomes… Click on the video below to view the model homes…
Many people looking to downsize from their current home want a new residence comparable to the home they are living in… just a little smaller. I have never understood the thinking that those of us over 55 want to live in a dinky unit located in a noisy location. For those who want a spacious home in a quiet location this new 55+ community in Rancho Palos Verdes fits the bill.
There are 6 floor plans ranging from 1550 square feet to 2352 square feet.. All have an outdoor living space and many have lovely city views. Prices range from $900,000’s to about $1.500,000. There are 2 bedroom units and 2 bedrooms with a den(flex unit- no closet). Currently there are 2 models open for inspect. Another big plus is that all the units have attached garages and the upper level units have individual elevators from their private entry level. All the units have 2 car enclosed garages which is another item missing from most 55+ communities in the area.
The interiors are well done and have a lot interesting features including a folding areas in the laundry rooms. There is a butler pantry in some of the units which is great for storing many items. The kitchens are very user friendly an all have good counter space.
The community will have 60 units built out in phases. There will be a clubhouse, gym, Bocce ball court and a dog park for your favorite buddy. The community is near the shopping center on Silver Spur and has easy access to Hawthorne Blvd. and Crenshaw Blvd. While it would be nice to have a similar community nearer the Beach Cities this one is well located with a lot of open space.
If you have been thinking of downsizing this might be a great place to consider if you want a larger home in a quiet area..
